Practice Philosophy

“I am interested in helping those in the underserved population. I believe in working with those who live and work in my community.

I am fond of children and as a Doctorate prepared Family Nurse Practitioner I chose to return to pediatrics. I am interested in teaching families how best to care for their children at all times not only when they become sick. I especially like to encourage parents to advocate for their children and encourage other opinions as there are many ways to get and keep a child healthy.

I am versatile so have many areas that I work well in. However, I have had a nitch with those struggling with mental health issues. I have an open mind and do not judge. I do my best to try getting them the services they need to help them get back to their "normal"."
